(Public Post) Agent Horny act releases

As many of you know, I release a game update for Agent Horny every 4 months, and I make the game scene by scene, act by act, from writing to rendering and coding. That way, I have peace of mind knowing that "this specific part" is done, and I can get it out of my head and move on VS having to do a lot of script checking, coding, and post-work at the end of the 4 months.

This means that I can release every act as a smaller update. In March, I made a Patreon poll, which passed with 71.4% and made that change possible. Nothing changes for patrons who want to play only the major update every 4 months, but those who want new content almost every month can play the acts when they're ready. Every major update, on average, has 3 acts.

Here is how this will work with V0.5 as an example:

V0.5 Act 1 – 31st of May

V0.5 Act 2 – the end of June

V0.5 Act 3 – the final act comes on August 10th and concludes the major update.

You can play each act when it's released or just wait for all 3 acts (the full major update) to be out.

Important note 1: Act releases won't be available directly in a patreon post but will be given on a request basis. So when I make the post saying that Act 1 of V0.5 is out for $20+/$10/$5 tiers, those patrons who want it will have to send me a message so I can send them the link.

This is an extra barrier for people who think they may get tempted to play the act, even though they prefer to play a bigger chunk of content at once. Those who play the acts should refrain from spoilers in the comments or on Discord to not affect the experience of those who will wait for the full update.

Important note 2: To avoid leaks, act releases will be sent only to players who have been patrons for at least two months. So if someone pledges, they can play the newest major update, but will have to wait a month to play the newest act release.

It’s the easiest form of leak protection that does not worsen the experience of my supporters but makes it impossible for a "professional leaker" to pay $5 and leak the newest content.

The two-month support requirement does not apply to tiers $20 and above. Those patrons can request the update immediately after signing up.

FAQ:

Question: "If I join on the 29th of, let's say, June, do I need to wait until the 29th of July to request an act release?"

Answer: You can request an act release on the first day of your second month of support. So if you join on June 29, you can send me a message on July 1.

Question: "If I pledge once for a month, then the next month I cancel and come back a few months later, can I request the newest act release?"

Answer: Yes, you can. If you've supported my work once, you can always come back and pledge again, and you don't have to wait to get the act releases.

Question: "Is this 2 month of support requirement for both the major and act releases?"

Answer: No, it's only for the act releases. Every Patron on signup can go and download directly the newest major update from the pinned post, no wait time or sending a message are required.
