So first of all, I know that in the previous post—the one where I said that the format of the series would be changed to fully animated in exchange for the number and diversity of characters and stories—I said that before making this transition I would finish "The Road to a Changeling's Heart" first. But do you believe me when I say I just can’t seem to find the desire or motivation to continue that story right now? For the past month, I’ve been trying but all I do is waste time and end up stuck in the same place.
So I think I'll move on for now. I'll probably finish the story one day, I want to do it too, but at this moment, I'll move on with the things that are much more excited and interesting at this moment for me.
So, what you see above is the main scene where 80% of the story will take place: The Wonderbolt Academy and the most important locations in the story. Built entirely from scratch by me. And there are still some things to be added to make it complete. ( Like the training ground )
And yes, for those who don't know yet, the next story is about Rainbow Dash x Lightning Dust
And for those who don't remember the plot of this story from when I mentioned it a long time ago, here's a little summary:
"Celestia saw one of Lightning Dust’s shows and she was highly impressed—so much so that she decided to create a new branch of the Wonderbolts for Lightning Dust’s team and her special talents.
However, due to her previous failure at Wonderbolt Academy, she still has to complete her basic training.
Of course, Spitfire and Rainbow Dash aren’t too happy about this news. So, they decide to have some fun by punishing Lightning Dust for her previous mistakes with a different kind of training—a special one—while reminding her that she’s just a failure and a big loser that no one likes."
And if your next question is "Does this mean you're going to start animating?", the answer will be no. I still want to do some more training/testing/upgrades first. One of those upgrades will be my attempt after 2 years of content creation to finally put clothes on the characters. I really think it could add a whole new level of realism and make the world feel even more beautiful. But it might be a fail, it's not the easiest thing to do, clothes in Blender are hard to do in animation, so you might still see the characters completely naked anyway. (I hope not)
