Added 2018-07-11 00:00:00 +0000 UTCThe 3 mile hike was generally over totally dirt roads or volcanic beach and without any signposts meaning you had to rely on other hikers you saw in the distance going in a similar direction to know you were doing something right. It was only bearable when I started playing music on my phone to distract us.
