Welcome back Fellow Darkish!
The long carpet muffles your footsteps, each thud swallowed by the chamber’s cold stone.
Before you, faintly lit by torchlight, a mysterious figure sits upon the throne.
A shiver runs down your spine as you feel the weight of its power.
Should you clash, it will not be an easy battle.

MAP DESCRIPTION
Forsaken Throne Room is a vast stone hall, draped in heavy scarlet curtains and matching banners.
Brass torches and braziers cast a warm, almost stifling glow over the otherwise frigid masonry.
On a raised dais, an enormous, intricately carved throne sits proudly waiting in silence for its master.
NOTES
Forsaken Throne Room is a perfect room for hosting boss and mini-boss fights
Pillars: Use the blind spots behind the columns to hide or to parry ranged attacks.
Braziers: Ignite your arrows at the floor braziers for extra burning damage.
The Throne: It may be cursed—any who dare usurp it risk harsh retribution, or conversely might grant the boss a dark boon while seated.
Curtains: The great red drape behind the throne could conceal nothing more than bare wall… or perhaps the entrance to a secret chamber.
Color Variants: Swapping in banners of different colors can, when used in the same adventure, suggest a duo or triad of related bosses who may leave important items for your story or to push deeper into the dungeon.

Welcome Back, Fellow Darkish!
We venture further into the Dungeon, facing our first boss fight!
What will you discover here?
A fallen sovereign or its guards, endlessly awaiting their ruler’s return?
Will you find a throne arrogantly occupied by a massive beast, or the amusing sight of a tiny yet formidable enemy stretched out upon a seat far too large for it?
We designed this room for a singular, charismatic foe, but we’re sure your imagination will unlock narrative possibilities we never even dreamed of!
As always, if you enjoyed the map leave us a like, and share your feedback and suggestions in the comments.
That’s it for this map, dear Fellow Darkish
We wish you great adventures and NAT20s,
