Nomad Camp [34x22]

Welcome back Fellow Darkish!

As you make your way down the barren trail, unexpected sounds drift to your ears: an unlikely chorus in such a desolate place.

Lively voices mingle with the mouthwatering aroma of well-cooked food carried on the breeze.

Best proceed with caution; those cheerful shouts might not welcome unannounced visitors.

MAP DESCRIPTION

Nomad Camp sits in a sparse, rocky hollow, its scant vegetation framed by sheer cliff faces that form a naturally sheltered enclave, ideal for pitching and defending a caravan.

A cluster of sturdy tents and wagons comprises the nomads’ caravan, all expertly fitted for life on the move.

Every need is met within the camp’s confines: wagon repairs and weapons upkeep happen under canvas awnings, while makeshift apothecaries whip up basic tinctures and salves.

The camp’s only entrance is a narrow, torch-lit descent, constantly watched by sentries ready to raise the alarm at the first sign of danger.

Why these nomads roam remains a mystery—whether fleeing some threat or simply plying their trade—but one thing is certain: they’re organized and won’t tolerate interference with their journey.

NOTES

Welcome Back, Fellow Darkish!

Nomad Camp has been on our roster for a while, and at last it’s here!

Caravans like this appear in many of our favorite adventures—and they’re incredibly versatile. Displaced villagers, driven from their homes by vampires, disasters, or monstrous threats, must find refuge somewhere.

With Nomad Camp, you can choose to aid these weary travelers after you’ve brought calamity into their lives—or you can inflict even more hardship, if that’s your party’s style!

Let us know what your adventurers do in this camp… and what’s left standing when they move on.

That’s it for this map, dear Fellow Darkish

We wish you great adventures and NAT20s,

Comments

We actually created a Frost version instead of a full Winter one, as we felt it matched the setting better. Hopefully that works for your needs!

Any possibility of a snow version?
