Greek Temple [58x38]

Welcome back Fellow Darkish!

The temple stood majestically on the hill, illuminated by the sun that made the precious stone it was built from shine.

As you walk along the path, worshippers returning from their place of devotion greet you warmly and serenely, refreshed by their visit to their Gods.

The entire area seemed to be bathed in a state of grace.

MAP DESCRIPTION:

Greek Temple is a grand and well-maintained temple, situated on a peaceful and verdant hill. The orderly and clean path is easy to traverse, with numerous worshippers coming and going to pray, leave offerings, or seek the comfort of priests and priestesses.

A clean fountain provides water to people and animals nearby, and at night, the path remains safe and well-lit.

The statue in golden armor evokes grace and strength, promising that the temple is far from defenseless as it might seem.

Upon reaching the foot of the temple, you can appreciate the elegant decorations of the structure and its sturdy columns.

Each decoration conveys the security of a flourishing and renowned cult that does notsquander the offerings of its faithful on unnecessary frills.

Everything seems perfect and ideal, but is all that glitters truly gold?

NOTES

• Greek Temple is a large map that allows for tactical combat thanks to its numerous elevations. Your mages can unleash Fireballs without risking damage to the temple, as everything is made of stone.

• Many deities fit well with the aesthetic of this temple, making the map very versatile and adaptable to the faiths of many members of your party.

• Political intrigues, corruption, and mysteries can also find their way into places like this. Is the temple really as perfect as it seems, or does it hide some dark secrets?

• Temple fanatics or guards might not appreciate you approaching their place of worship if your party includes individuals tied to opposing deities or if you do not seem worthy of this place.

• The den near the temple could host hostile animals, but also creatures linked to the God who might provide buffs or become unexpected companions if you act correctly. It could also hide a secret entrance to the temple.

We had already created a couple of temples, like the Jungle Temple or the Temple Ruins, but none that reminded us of the gods of Greek and Roman culture, which have inspired the lore of many of the most well-known and beloved deities in the RPG world.

Greek Temple is truly a classic that could not be missing from our map collection.

Soon, you will also be able to explore its interiors, finally giving the right prestige to your party’s interactions with their favorite deity!
