Welcome back Fellow Darkish!
The doors of the glorious Castle Library swing open for you!
For this new map, we are thrilled to announce that we have once again collaborated with someone you’ve had the pleasure of seeing before:
James’ RPG Art
James’ RPG Art makes animated scenes to help players visualise environments and add immersion and tone to your games.
He has created over 300 scenes from official WotC adventures and many unique locations that are often found in a D&D adventure.
He releases 4 new locations each month for his patrons.
The grandeur and solemnity of this Royal Library have been perfectly captured by our James, and we are sure you will enjoy introducing this map to your players in such a majestic way!

MAP DESCRIPTION:
Castle Library is a grand hall, where large windows illuminate anyone seeking knowledge or leisure among its books.
Nobles and youths, intent on studying or relaxing, animate the first floor being careful not to make too much noise to avoid disturbing the wise in the two circular offices.
The scent of flowers growing on the office walls and found in vases throughout the hall is said to help maintain concentration and a clear mind.
In the second hall, silence is maintained, as it is the preferred study place for those scholars and learned individuals who do not have the fortune of accessing the offices.
Precious documents are kept in display cases, and this section attracts those who desire privacy and tranquility without the foot traffic characteristic of the first floor.
The third floor is reserved for the Royals and their trusted individuals, requiring a pass to access. Guards are stationed on the stairs, and the oldest and rarest tomes of the library are kept here. The precious gold fireplace warms the room and has witnessed countless gatherings that have, over the decades, changed the course of the Kingdom’s history.
NOTES
Castle Library is spread over a single floor, despite the stairs. From each floor, you can see the one below, allowing for interesting use of heights during combat.
Precious letters, clue-rich scrolls, ancient relics, golden candelabras… the Library is full of everything you risk finding in your Rogue’s bag if they were searched.
Stealth, to gather information, steal important documents, or pour poisons and sleeping draughts into the numerous goblets and cups of those engrossed in reading, is definitely an option to consider while sneaking around the Library.
The Castle Series has finally gained a new hall, Fellow Darkish!
We would love to do this more often, but this map took us about 30 days of work, and we never want to draw another book in our lives, hahaha.
Let’s not even talk about the little flowers.
The “beauty” of hand-drawing every single detail, but we hope, as always, that you can appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail in our work!
That’s all for this map, Fellow Darkish, we’ll see you very soon with the Pirate Dungeon we promised you!
We wish you, as always, great adventures and Nat20!
