MAP DESCRIPTION:
Necromancer's Lair is a vast underground labyrinth, a perfect hideout for any evil.
The countless dead-end alleys lead only to the remains of the unfortunate ones who challenged the Dark Lord before you or to vases and crates that can turn out to be treacherous traps. Did someone say Mimic?
The main streets, blocked by heavy gates, force you to risk getting lost in these narrow corridors and to face the horrors that the Dark Lord has put to protect his secrets.
The brave ones who manage to pass the first door will find themselves in the prison wing, where the unlucky ones who will become the next victims of this place and its master are kept.
As you advance, the Necromancer's Private Rooms, his Laboratory and the Ritual Hallopen before you.
In this last room, built on a deep abyss that is said to be directly connected to the realm of the Dead, the Necromancer draws enormous power that he wants to use to bring the worst of Evils into our world.
Will you be able to defeat him and put an end to his wicked plans?
NOTES:
- Zombies, ghouls and... what the hell is that? This dungeon is not only huge, but being the hideout of a necromancer it is certainly full of monsters ready to jump on you at sight from every corner.
- The First Door of the Dungeon is particularly long to open. You will have to reach the two Red Basins on the two sides of the map and pour your blood into them to open them and be able to continue.
- To increase the difficulty of the challenge, you can set as a condition to open the door that both basins must contain FRESH blood. This will force the party to be very coordinated to pour the blood almost at the same time.
- Lowering the Levers you find opens convenient Shortcuts that will allow you to return to the First Door more easily... but the noise could also alert every single monster in the area of your intentions.
- The Second Door is relatively easy to open. The monsters guarding the prisons certainly hold the keys to open both that and the cell doors.
- The Private Rooms of a powerful Dark Lord certainly hide very interesting books and artifacts for anyone who practices magic, but will it be a good idea to steal right here?
- A secret passage behind the wall? Who knows what's in a chest so well hidden...
- The Laboratory is not a nice place to explore for the faint of heart. Corpses on the tables, a not very pleasant smell and strange abominations preserved in creepy tanks do not improve the atmosphere. And what's boiling in that cauldron?! Sure, anyway that chest is interesting...
Surely nothing will wake up when you open it, right?
