Walpurgis's smug smile, and its that way in the original too. One of those mysteries we may never find the answers to. Why is she so smug? Its like she is judging the sacredos's form. And yet she is in the position that the students are in the other pages, yet its like a role reversal? Or perhaps that's the message of the last two pages where she appears in place of the male scholar? Role reversal. A couple of articles in Arms and Armour in the 2010s suggested these pages were salvaged and rebound from a larger work a very long time ago, the 1500s or before.

Ah, the "under the arm" ward, you can see the same in the Bolognese school with their "sotto il braccio", several different interpretations about this ward. Is it up under the armpit or a little lower? Very nice recreation of the image as presented in the treatise, nice to see the lady looking more human and expressive.
