Poll time! First short comic of 2025. I'm excited to see what we start this year with!

1. (Step)Mother of Giants:

In the Seventh Realm, an AMAB humie scholar has made it up to the frozen land of the Nordlings/Giants, hoping to learn more from the last of the ancient Nordlings. As is the nature of Nordlings, they never stop growing which is why they are sometimes called Giants. An ancient Nordling then, must be truly gigantic!

Rebuffed and dismissed by the giant's descendants (imposing but still mortal-sized nordlings), the scholar instead sneaks around and connects with the giant in his solitude more personally, a connection with a rather startling effect on our scholar. Be it the old powers of a giant's loneliness, some dormant destiny of the scholar, or some stranger power besides, the humie finds themself growing to suit their research subject - as well as simply growing.

By the time the Nordling guards have discovered the infiltration, the intruder is not mere humie but a giantess on par with their ancient - and one with a particular interest in starting up the ancient lines - for purely scholastic purposes, of course.

2. Gaslight, Girlkeep, Girlboss:

For the unitiated, the Law of Attraction is a pseudo-scientific idea that thoughts are made out of special energy that the universe reacts consciously to. The idea being that positive thinking will attract positive energy from the universe, meaning that people can just "manifest" positive changes in their lives through positive thinking alone. What does this matter to our eggtagonist?

Our eggtagonist is best friends with a woman who's deep into Manifesting and is struggling to keep her work and life in balance. While she's a total "girlboss" with high aspirations to advance in her career, she also really wants to start a family with a child before it's too late. So she's using positive thinking to get both done! Except that the universe seems to be easily confused...

Because she and her eggy friend hang out all the time and because she's too much of a girlboss to seem all that "motherly," the universe gradually changes our eggtagonist into a woman who also gets pregnant with her girlboss friend's child. And the girlboss gets more butch as well.

3. Happy Old Furry Year!

For some people, the Christmas and New Year's time can be a bit dull, especially when it's all the same routine as it's been, year upon year. For one person, our human AMAB eggtagonist, this is particularly true as they've done the same celebration with the same people in the same city now for each of their 30 years.

On one of the days between Christmas and New Year's, they decide to stroll down the streets, hoping to find something new and exciting. As they walk down the street, they discover something that's maybe not "new" in a literal sense, but it is new to them. An old, abandoned building, looking like some kind of Victorian Era corner store. Feeling like their wish for something new and different was granted, they choose to enter.

Inside, everything is covered in a fine layer of grey dusty, with the one exception of a pristine, old-fashoned, emerald umbrella. They pick it up and open and close it a few times to test it out. Seemingly it's as good as new, unlike anything else here, and they casually hold it on their shoulder while looking around for anything else of note. But just as they do that, the umbrella snaps shut over their head.

Our friend struggles to get it loose, but it stubbornly stays shut. And as they stumble around the shop and stirs the dust around, the shop starts to renew itself, looking as fresh and clean as if it had never been abandoned in the first place.

But the shop isn't the only thing changing, of course. Our indesposed egg starts growing taller and curvier, large breasts swell out and fill the bustier that was once a thick wool sweater. Their arms, now exposed, start growing big and muscular as well as growing a soft coat of red fur that quickly spreads across the rest of their body. Their legs grow thick and shapely while also morphing into digitgrade paws, although they quickly get covered up by a wide and old-fashioned skirt. But not before her fluffy new tail finds an escape.

Finally she manages to pull that stupid umbrella off and immediately catches a glimpse of herself in one of her clothing store's many mirrors. Stunned, she beholds that she has turned into a gorgeous anthropomorphic vixen wearing an emerald green Victorian-Era dress. And before she has the chance to panic over being a furry in a non-furry world, she looks out the window to see that the entire world has changed with her. Muscular furry women everywhere taking casual strolls in the old-timey streets, wishing each other a "Happy Old Year."

4. Fired Up!

Our eggtagonist is in a slightly dark place, being short on sleep, having had to clear dry brush to prevent forest fires; frustrated by a combination of dysphoria, the massive task ahead of her and the risks of not getting the job done before it warms up again. She sits under the shelter of a large tree while sipping a spicy tea, and enjoys closing her eyes for a moment and feeling the light rain on her face. She calms down and feels a little better.

As she exhales the vapours of the drink, the raindrops falling around her start turning to steam, and her skin takes on the green hue of the drink, her hair grows out, before turning into vivid red and orange petals. Suddenly, her eyes open, revealing that they're now blazing. Some of her now green skin seems to char and glow, and the petals wilt back into a punky faux hairstyle, as she becomes a slightly fiery dryad, tied to the cycle of small brushfires which prevents larger ones and allows certain plants to grow.

5. Deep Sink:

After a long and cold walk hom from work, a young "guy" returns to his home. Inside, he meets his female yeti roommate, happily chilling with her warm fur. The guy lays on top of her body to warm up and then sinks into her fur. The yeti, panicked by her roommate's disappearance, rummages in her fur and pulls him out. As he gets pulled out it is revealed he has also transformed into a female yeti.
