Him talking to and introducing me to Dr K completely changed my life, I lost so much weight, went back to Uni, and I'm in a better and happier place now because of him being open like that. I can't imagine how you guys felt, but he'll always be with me someway. RIP.

I kept seeing streamers talk about how close they were with him or how much meeting him changed them as a person, and I was totally thinking "I've been following this guy since the beginning and never saw you around him or mentioned ever" in like 85% of cases. 2025-08-26 11:28:36 +0000 UTCAs someone who wasn't around twitchsphere until 2019 I appreciate these stories. There was a whole lot of wild west shit going on and you guys pioneered a lot. I just remember when Reckful started playing chess around the Pogchamps events and that's the only time I popped in. It was one of his last streams. Even someone like me who didn't really know anything about twitch or streaming was affected by his death. It brought up a lot of my personal emotions about my own life and stuff. That's the power content creators have. All parasocial BS aside. It's real. Something a content creator does initiates a chain reaction of reflection in the viewers. What they do with it matters, because obviously most people don't really think about their lives or whatever, but there are some of us who choose to try to be better people, who try to improve our lives. That's what I think content creators should remember.
