Old podcasts were awesome because people did it for fun and it was authentic. I like this podcast because it reminds me of that.

Moved out of Toronto to the sticks, semi-isolated so Punching Down brings the vibes of decompressing at a buddy's house like I used to. I.e. good shit, good vibes, let the topics flow naturally bc it wouldn't work if they were forced. Would be surprised to find out the audience is majority age <25 or so. 30s has been denial that 40 is right there as well as unpacking what economics and politics is. I think that'll track naturally on the show. Nick definitely has the better grasp of it imo. Chance is -- just, what a fckn beauty. Phin is the actual foundation here, pay this man more money. The anchor keeping the boat out the weeds.

Idk, something about Chance being angry at everything makes me feel like the world is okay and that I'm normal 😂
