Big Shopping Mod Updates

Dear patrons! You've waited a long time since the last update. But it was worth it. I've learned a lot about Python programming and expanded my own Python library. Things will only get better from now on. As a result, all of my shopping mods have been rewritten.

🤓 Smart Core Script & Package v. 2.0.0 (xxx)

• Please delete the old Smart Shared Core, it is now obsolete and will be replaced by the Smart Core Script (actually renamed), otherwise there will be a conflict!

• This update brings major improvements, including powerful new features for the purchase picker system, as well as support for configuration files and save data — paving the way for future mods. Big changes are coming to my mod ecosystem! Thank you so much for your continued support!

• From now on, this script library will be my central core library, which will be used for many mods, including the mods in the P.S.O. series. The Lot51 Core Library is no longer needed in many cases (but sometimes it is).

• The former P.S.O. Shared Library, which also included its own scripts, is being deprecated. Instead, there's now a P.S.O. Common Package without scripts. All scripts are now in Smart Core Library. This is better, and I don't have to repeat things. It's easier to update.

• To avoid confusion, I will list the requirements for each mod in detail.

🛒 P.S.O. Common Package v. 2.0.0 (smc)

• The old P.S.O. Shared Library with all add-ons is discontinued and will be deleted.

• The new P.S.O. Common Package is a new game resource that should completely replace the old P.S.O. Shared Library. It no longer contains scripts, but instead contains image resources, icons, and some shared tuning resources for multiple P.S.O. mods. Please remove the old PSO Shared Script!!!

Installing the Lot51 Core Library is no longer required (unless you need it for other things).

🛍️ SimSim Online Store v. 5.0.0 (smc, pso)

New requirements:

• Switching to the new script. Effective immediately, the Smart Core Script is required instead of Lot51 Core Script. Note: The PSO Common Package is also required.

New features that are only possible with the new script:

• New improved purchase picker, thanks to which navigation between different categories will be even easier: now when you click on "close" in the upper right corner of the screen, as well as just accidentally clicking the mouse past the window, you get to the previous selection menu, and do not exit the store completely. No need to start all over again if you made a mistake!

• Added an additional delivery fee that varies for different product categories and ranges from 5 to 50 simoleons.

• Improved pricing for items from recipes (prices are now taken from the recipes, rather than always being set the same for item lists). This used to be a headache, because in-game items from recipes almost always cost 0 simoleons.

• The store now saves purchase history! Your Sims can see what they've already ordered and can order the same item again without having to search through all the categories! The Purchase History Tracker tracks your Sims' purchases, so each Sim has their own purchase history. This feature will be expanded in the future.

• Your Sims now also receive bonus points for their purchases and can exchange these points for a few additional benefits! The more they buy, the more bonus points they get!

• Fixed some bugs in the code related to the correct display of icons in some pickers.

• Finally fixed the loading error that was occurring for users who had some store categories empty (because they didn't have content for it). Now such categories are inactive and can't be opened.

Added new items:

• Mechanical Helmet, Mechanical Suit and Robotic Arm from EP08.

• Underneath the Stars Fold-Up Bed, Light My Way to the Moon Lamp, and Cozy Backyard Firepit from SP33 (EA has finally made these objects inventorable).

• Pool Party Float Lounger from EP15.

• Quaint Crowskin Journal from EP17.

• Mikro's Ribbon Mic, Smooth Strummer 3000 Guitar, Cykel Dream Drifter Bike, Grassroots Street Stall Sales Table, The Kate & Berry Sweet Treats Fabricator 3000, StartupVision Pro Laptop from new EP18.

• Panpipe, Kalimba, Saxophone, Flute, Drumbs, Contrabass, and Handpan from "Into Music Custom Stuff Pack" by Necrodog.

• Flute, Lute, French Horn from various JaneSimsten's Mods.

• Crystals, metals, elements, and fossils that were previously moved to Obscura are now back to SimSim Store. Sea message bottles from Tartosa have been moved back from Obscura to the SimSim Store Collections section.

🍔 Sim-Nom-Nom Food Delivery v. 1.4.0 (smc, pso)

New requirements:

• Switching to the new script. Effective immediately, the Smart Core Script is required instead of Lot51 Core Script. Note: The PSO Common Package is also required.

New features that are only possible with the new script:

• New improved purchase picker, additional working delivery fee and improved prices for items from recipes (prices are now taken from recipes instead of being set the same for all item lists), similar to the SimSim Online Store.

• Added sale of food and product leftovers: save food from being thrown away! Note: the store is not responsible for the quality and freshness!

Added new items:

• Added Cotton Candy, Swirl Lolly and Jellybeans from the latest EP18 to the range.

• More than 30 new beautiful and delicious cakes from Littlebowbub's Grannies Recipe are now available for purchase. Enjoy!

💊 Purchase Medicine v. 4.0.0 (smc, pso)

• Switching to the new script. Effective immediately, the Smart Core Script is required instead of Lot51 Core Script. Note: The PSO Common Package is also required.

• Thanks to the new script, the delivery costs are now also functional. The long error that occurred for users who had no installed content has now been resolved – these users receive a message stating that they have no content, not an error message!

• The sunscreen from Island Living is back. However, they will only be added if you have the corresponding mods that make these items functional (e.g., Basic Burns from Kuttoe). Thanks to the new script, you no longer need any add-ons, so they'll appear automatically, but only if you have the corresponding mods. Otherwise, you won't see these items in the pharmacy's assortment.

• With the help of ChatGPT, translations into Dutch, Czech, Polish, Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian were created and added. I hope they're good. If you notice anything odd, please let me know!

🕸️ Obscura Network v. 1.1.0 (smc, pso)

• Switching to the new script. Effective immediately, the Smart Core Script is required instead of Lot51 Core Script. Note: The PSO Common Package is also required.

• Fixed some minor bugs in the code related to the correct display of texts and buffs.

• Added support for the custom Network Security Skill from Tech Lover Mod. Learning Obscura now also slightly increases this skill, and Sims with this skill learn Obscura more easily.

• Improved behavior of children when studying Obscura - now they also increase mental skill when studying; also, children more often receive negative buffs from studying the network than adults - after all, it is a complex field of knowledge.

• Fixed some negative effects when trying to connect to Obscura with a low skill level.

• Fixed errors with displaying empty store categories for players who do not have the corresponding objects installed - now such categories are hidden for these players.

• Sea message bottles from Tartosa have been moved back from Obscura to the SimSim Store Collections section.

🍷 Purchase Bottled Drinks v. 1.6.0 (smc, pso)

• Switching to the new script. Effective immediately, the Smart Core Script is required instead of Lot51 Core Script. Note: The PSO Common Package is also required.

• Users who install this mod but do not have any items to purchase will receive a notification that the mod is useless and should be removed.

🧠 Smart Sim Cheats v. 2.7.0 (smc, lot51)

• Internal optimization of existing code based on the new script.

• Adding a cheat to maximize all skills or one random skill of the selected sim.

Due to the radical rewriting of the main script, it became necessary to also update the following mods. However, no significant changes occurred in the mods. It is only about supporting comparability with the new version.
