After patch 1.110, several popular mods stopped working. To help the community stay afloat, I updated Trait Tracker Injector (originally created by MAL22). Since the original author hasn’t fixed it yet, I decided to step in. I fixed the bugs introduced by patch 1.110 and completely reworked the injector script. All mods using the Trait Tracker Injector should now function correctly without requiring any changes from you.
Note: I only fixed the injector itself. I’m not responsible for how other mod authors have implemented it in their mods. I do not claim authorship and want to give huge thanks to the original creator for his fantastic work!
Please delete the old version of MAL 22 Trait Tracker Injector!
How To Use
The Trait Tracker Injector (actually it would be better to call it Trait Inheritance Injector) is primarily used to enable inheritance of custom traits across Sim generations. Mods that implement this injector allow traits to be passed from parents to offspring, creating unique family lines with inherited abilities, such as dormant occult traits or special NPC-inherited skills. If you’re not using mods that directly depend on this Injector, you don’t need to install it!
You only need to copy this one script directly into your mod folder. Please no other files! Please do not copy the two files from the original MAL22 download page!

Honestly love the sound of this, I want to start implementing something like that in my game with more than just the non cc traits. I was just wondering if there were any suggestions specifically to any mods that use your injector? I went looking and none mentioned anything as far as I could find. 2024-12-22 23:07:23 +0000 UTCI got a notification in game saying one of my mods was incompatible with the T.O.O.L. mod while in live mode, and then wasn't able to bring up the menu for the mod. In the error it said that it was likely related to an overlay recolor or something of the sort, which made no sense to me because I didn't have anything like that installed. Once I removed this mod it started working again If I get time later today I'll add the mod back in and copy over the error code so you have a word for word example to go off of!
