G'day, and welcome to a new month! It feels like our last update was just yesterday, and yet here we are with a long list of brand new content. We've had a lot of fun making it, and it's all thanks to patrons like you for making it possible – thank you, and we hope it brings you as much joy as you have brought us!
Lately I have been making a few minor breakthroughs in my artistic process, and I'm really quite fond of these recent maps. The little changes in line art, perspective, and my hardware are really satisfying.
David and Austin have also put countless hours into making some more characters for you, with 238 new friendly and fiendish creations! Rooty has also transformed the Rock Pools into four gorgeous variants that are not to be missed. You can find links to all this below...
We've also been publishing free stuff to the blog all throughout the month! Troy and Garm have both come up with some great resources, which you can find here...
That wraps up the month of May! What's next? I can't sign off without mentioning Bazz's latest challenge to our Discord community (to which you're invited - see here on how to access it).
Bazz: Your friendly Bearded GM here to challenge our great community for creating another 100 maps!
Bazz: During the month of June I would want to host this event once again for people that just needed that extra push to create another truely magnificent art piece using 2MTT assets and everyone else too of course. Ross has provided us with a lot of new fantastic assets to play with past year so it only seems logical to do this.
Bazz: If you want to show your beautiful masterpieces please do share them in this channel. I will get them sorted in another Google drive folder to share with the rest of the community (link will be provided soon)
Bazz: Don't feel obligated to limit yourself to Battlemaps. World/region/city maps and if you do have some construct that you created using the assets are welcome too. And if you have some small write up of an encounter or a statblock that takes place on the map please do share it with us.
If you're a custom map-maker, we hope to see you there! Otherwise, please stop by to enjoy all the beautiful and free battle maps! It's plenty of fun, and a great place to pick up new tricks. :)
That'll do for now. We'd best get back to our pencils and keyboards! I hope you have a great day, an excellent week, and a joyful June.
– Ross
