An opulent stone building committed to a celestial god, which goes on standing no matter how much time washes over it...
I have drawn a temple before, and I have drawn a castle before, but this capital-T Temple is a marriage of the two!
Vaulted ceilings rise high over intricately-laid stone floors depicting the celestial bodies, and sunlight filters through the tall glass windows to shine upon them. One can imagine the echoing voice of a priest, or the acoustics of a wedding ceremony.
I also like to imagine this hall as a sort of teleportation nexus, be it through space, planes, or time itself! A character might stand in the central floor design, recite an incantation, and be cast instantaneously through the cosmic veil. The ruined map variant might be where they end up...

I hope that this Celestial Temple can find a place in your campaign! Do you have a god that would appreciate the sun/star imagery? Have any other ideas to do with this holy fortress? Please let us know with a comment! :)
