Good morning from Australia, where it's already February 2020! This short post will show off what you funded in January, give you some insight into my plans for February, and (at the bottom) you can grab your coupon for a free $1 map.
Thanks to your pledges this month you have collectively donated $4,809.98 AUD to the TRC ARF WIldlife and Bushfire QLD Appeal;
The animals have nothing to eat. Everything is gone – completely decimated. It’s up to all of us, to collectively come together to save them. Sponsors are desperately needed now, to ensure the animals have food to eat. We will drop 60 tonnes of food to starving animals in fire zones across Australia every fortnight until the bush can once again feed them. Water. Food. Supplies. You’ve seen the call out. The Rescue Collective, Animal Rescue Cooperative and hundreds of our native animals need your help.
In addition to this we are still tallying sales of the Billabong map (link below) and will be donating more at the end of the month. From one Australian creator to you: thank you for helping Australia's wildlife survive these fires!

January was, as is tradition, a mad dash to get everything out on time. That said, I think I am getting better at this time management thing! I have balanced my workload as smartly as I can predict over this new month, and you should see a lot less frantic updates from me on Discord (and more regular, relaxed ones).
I hope this will be the case, because I'm packing up to move! At the end of February I have a flight to catch, and before then I need to sell off all my junk, move furniture, organize visas, and all that exciting stuff. It's going to be a busy month so I want to keep the 2MT ship sailing smoothly so that I can save all my stress for moving.
Beginning in March I'll be spending a little over a year overseas, first in Japan and then in New Zealand. Changes of scenery always offer me a great boost to creativity, and I can't wait to seek out some more reference material in person. :)
As for February maps? I want to try my hand at some Lingering Spell Effects assets (your Wind Wall, Black Tentacles, etc.) and then go from there. Currently I like the sound of more Wonderdraft assets in the style of January's Arvyre map, and I also want to see how Dungeondraft handles assets.
My map plans are all very hazy, so please leave your suggestions below! In particular, what sort of continent-level assets would you like to see in that Wonderdraft pack? When I sit down to draw them my mind always blanks, so a long list of ideas would do *wonders*.
And finally, you can grab a free $1 map with the coupon surpriseicecreamsand valid until the end of the month. You can browse the selection here.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support! If you have any feedback or comments at all, please leave them below. I read every single one. :)
