A Winding Desert Catacomb
Added 2019-11-17 04:33:13 +0000 UTCWith great difficulty the Relic Hunters have breached the arcane seal and opened the catacomb. It now falls to you, adventurers. Enter first into the forgotten interior and meet the defenses that surely await.
I enjoyed drawing the Tomb battle map so much that I had to expand it with this corridor. It is lined with Anubis-inspired statues and resting mummies, and provides a platform at its end for a sphinx or similar encounter of your choice. The map in its entirety looks like so:
The question I have no is: shall we make an exterior similar to our Fire, Jungle, and Ice Temples from earlier in 2019? I think we must! If you are struck by any good ideas, please do let me know in the comments.
As always, I'd love to hear about your encounter plans, be it Anubis stat blocks, sphinx riddles, or the contents of that final chamber. It really is the perfect place to hide a McGuffin, isn't it?

2019-11-19 19:22:34 +0000 UTCWell, we already have that cool skull cave. I think, for a built tomb, it should look more like a rock-cut tomb from the Valley of the Kings, or possibly the entrance to a pyramid... or that secret passage they supposedly found beneath the Sphinx?
