Your 2-Minute October Update
Added 2019-10-01 11:18:40 +0000 UTC
Happy October everyone. We have made an early start on the Halloween maps this year, and they are far from done! Though our maps this month won't be so pumpkin-filled and on the nose, I will be aiming for "spooky" as the theme.
This September we released...

As well as the following resources from Troy:
Altogether a solid month, and I hope to carry the momentum into the next!
Tell me, what spooky map concepts come to your mind? I'd like to draw another cemetery for one thing, as it's been years since my last one. What else would you like to see?

And finally, you can grab a free $1 map with the coupon hivemindkoikarpgolem valid until November. You can browse the selection here.
So excited for this!

Ah, it was from your thread on reddit. I didn't realize it was you, because the name was different.

I adore the system. It simplifies a lot of things while maintaining PF's claim to fame of fantastic character customization. It's especially simplified from a DMing perspective in terms of encounter balancing - they unified XP-per-level to 1,000, so creature XP is now a flat rate based on its level in relation to party level. And character creation is a lot of fun! I could probably ramble about this until I hit some sort of character limit.

I think November will be very desert-filled (with a break for some jungle assets). Maybe I can mix the Halloween and desert themes for a mummy lair this month though...

I'm really curious about PF2e! We started out with Pathfinder before transitioning to 5e.

I must definitely give this some thought. Perhaps it is time for some Tomb Kings inspired, well, tombs?

I'd love to see desert environment stuff. Things like the rocky views and red sands of the outback. I'm always down for gerudo style temples

I just started a homebrew PF2E game, and I was pretty excited for it... and now I'm super hyped to run this game because of all the resources you've made available. Thank you so much!

I do like the idea of a classic ghost town--a former boom town from the American West, with empty streets and lots of dust. Presumably it would go with an abandoned mine...

Non-Western stuff! An Egyptian mastaba. Israeli rock-cut tombs. A Japanese kofun! And there's loads of Islamic mausoleums. I just think it would be cool to have spooky maps for other settings and cultures, since we already have a haunted house and a European-style cemetery.

First of all I just wanted to say the work you're doing is incredible! I love your style and the maps you release are always varied, useful, and gorgeous. I'm also a huge fan of your assets and have used them to bring character to my own maps.
Second (whoops, accidentally posted before I was ready, ETA), my spooky map ideas are: ritual site, sacrificial altar in an ancient temple, haunted house, fog-shrouded forest and/or cornfield, gothic manor, murder scene, hanging tree, ghost town. Hope some of those are helpful!
