Poacher's Crest
Added 2018-12-17 12:54:43 +0000 UTCWelcome to Poacher's Crest, a thriving trade town at the meeting of the King's Road and the winding Lynham river. Known for its excellent apples, vibrantly dyed fabrics, smoked game meats, and the fine metalwork of its master whitesmith, Tylsit Burkham.
That introductory paragraph was written not by me, but our guest writer Sam Brown. In fact, he wrote a whole page about this little town, and you can read it in the ZIP! Just look for the PoachersCrest-Primer.pdf and enjoy.
As you can see, I've put together a bonus snowy version, to celebrate the approach of Christmas and all. It also plays well into Sam's writing, which was a happy coincidence!
Besides Sam's primer you can invent any name and story that you'd like for this modest town. I dare you to try, and to share them with everyone in the comments!

My campaign takes place in a neverending winter nightmare, and it is so hard to find winter maps to fill my needs (I usually end up making my maps black and white). It would be wonderful if this was something you could add with many of your maps! <3
