Improved skin materials

I know I had posted a "final" model for Ashe but I got a beta for an update to the render engine (Octane) that has new features in terms of what is doable for skin materials. That prompted me to update the models but now I am truly satisfied with the look of the character.

With Octane as render engine rather than Daz Iray --which is what most other 3d VN use- I am looking to set a more realistic look.

An improved benefit of the new skin materials I created is how they respond to light, as you can see in the side by side, which allows me to use better lightning to draw out details of the environment too. 

If you are a little more interested in technical details... the difference between the new and the old model even more significant with HDRI lighting, you can see in the old model, the light really goes through, or gets harshly reflected off the skin and gives it more of a doll look. The new material disperses the light in a much more realistic manner. Being able to use HDRI allows for better composition of lights in the scene.

I have spent quite a bit of effort, researching and trying skin materials to make them more realistic the last few days.

I think this will allow a unique look to the characters and set it aside from other games. So although it set my timeline back, I think it is worth since the renders are the central part of the game.

With Ashe and Evelynn finished, I wanted to have fun with some renders to take a break from working on the UI and the code.

I completed the redo of the Evelynn model. Now working on Miss Fortune and LeBlanc. After that, should be producing the CGs, these are the main items to complete before release

I have spent some time redoing the models almost completely. Opting for a more realistic, less cartooney look.

I will start posting patreon only lewd images but mid term goal is to get out a demo of the game.
