The Roadside Rise & Wilderness

I'm finally back to what I enjoy: making maps!
I had a passing idea while walking the dog the other day (week) to try out some one-page tiling road battle maps. These are the first two, purposely generic so you can extend the more interesting ones to come; campsites, ambushes, toll booths, etc.
I'd love to hear your feedback. Are they too narrow? Do the imperfect intersection bother you?
I also would like to mention that I consider two of these tiles as one "map" in terms of my 4-maps-per-month target.
Thanks to all of you, these are released under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license
For tiles, I think so. Does the size feel right to you? I'll draw set-piece maps at a poster size, but I like the idea of having a binder full of one-page tiles. :)

I like the idea of bridge assets a lot! I have no doubt there will be a stream crossing tile. :)

Aha, I knew I was forgetting something! It's all fixed up now.

and one final note. I cannot access the preview post of road tile variations at the $1 per map level.

sidenote, I'd love to see a non snowed version of 'Snowy Road'. I like how it is broken into 2/3 path, short bridge over river, short path after. I might even recommend removing the bridge and making several bridge assets that would work with any of the river tiles (stone bridge, wood bridge, fallen tree, etc) to allow for further customization,

Love this. Your previous road maps (wild road/forest road/grassy path) were some of my most used ones followed by 'Forest Glade'. These were great for ambushes and random encounters. I think campsites tiles are a great idea and would also love to see some river tiles as well that could be strung together (3-4). Will your 'tile' maps all be 8.5x11 moving forward?

Will you be reverting back to the $1 a map now that patreon has reversed its fee change?

I agree with this. Having some tokens to help fill out a map, expand certain directions, etc would be really beneficial. I would love to see a pack of rocks, trees, forested edges, cliffs and other features that we could add to grass tiles. Winter and fall variants would be killer too! I'd love to see that as released as a map or two.

This is excellent! Having tiles of filler grass and maybe ponds or trees as white space around the road would be excellent, especially for increasing scale/breadth of a battle map for AoEs and range. Having tiles with one edge ending in foliage or cliff or beach would let dms limit space available and trap payers too. Thanks so much for this, can't wait to use it. Urban setting tiles would be fantastic next year if that's something that sounds manageable- if battle doesn't occur in the wild, it's usually in a town or village.

Fantastic idea and really useful for precisely the use I'm putting your maps to in the new year!

Love it, but Roadside Wilderness seems to be missing the actual map.
