Goal Achieved: The Castle Tileset!
Added 2017-02-16 10:55:50 +0000 UTCSome time yesterday we hit the $350 mark thanks to all you fine folk!
Though Patreon irritatingly deleted the goal from my page, I still intend to go through with creating The Castle Tileset. It won't happen overnight, but you will see it come together piece by piece over the coming weeks. By the end, I hope to have a collection of castle bits and piece - gates, draw bridges, walls, tower, keeps, etc. - that can be arranged into countless different designs.
If you have any suggestions or components you'd like to see included, please list them in the comments! Admire a certain castle in real life or fantasy? Please send me a link! The brainstorming hath begun!

2017-02-17 13:15:45 +0000 UTCCongratulations on meeting the goal- that's so great! I would love to see some tile pieces with overgrown nature! One castle I adore is the chateau de la mothe chandeniers- it's totally overgrown and sunken in water so it has this really cool atmosphere.
2017-02-16 22:19:21 +0000 UTCI'm really looking forward to modular maps, hopefully it's a big success and we'll see more modular stuff.

2017-02-16 21:55:12 +0000 UTCSomething I have always wanted to see in terms of tabletop castles is a nod to the Alhambra. It's a beautiful castle, and despite its variance from standard English castles really set the tone for architecture on a grand scale for a long time after it came out. When it comes to tabletop settings, I always appreciate a chance to mix up some of the tropes we use. Would be awesome to see something influenced by an amazing fortress.

2017-02-16 14:19:52 +0000 UTChidden passageways, grand hall with grand tables full of food, stables for a courtyard, dungeon (offcourse), traps, menagerie, kitchen, ... possibilities are endless!
