Echoform Vase

Hi there, wonderful people!

Some concepts just refuse to let go until they turn into some kind of reality, and this is one of those. I was contemplating some kind of classic vase design, but with things arranged around it that seemingly contravened the basic laws of vase mode printing, and that turned into "what if there were two vases!", and apparently some walls as well.

And so here we are! This vase mode print incorporates two vases in front of two contrasting walled nooks, and of course the entire thing is defined strictly a single perimeter. So there's really only one vase. (Just imagine a Matrix 'there is no spoon' here, along with thoughtful nodding)

Further Thoughts

Fun fact, the vases don't actually touch the wall behind them, as that has a high risk of producing pockets and points that are not appropriate in a vase mode print. Instead, the vases are truncated slightly away from the wall and a thin fin is put in place to connect vase and wall.

Happy spiral printing!

xoxo

Sven.
