I must confess that I took these photos because, a few weeks ago, a patron pointed out that I rarely pose from behind.
It's true, I naturally tend to pose facing the camera far more often. But why is that? I’m not entirely sure. In pin-up/boudoir photography, back poses are incredibly common, and I know that many people find a glimpse of the back or the curve of the hips even more enticing than a direct frontal, even topless shot.
And yet, I’ve always had this instinct to engage directly with the camera when I pose. Perhaps it's because I feel a stronger connection that way?...
That being said, I want to work on different perspectives, work on the curves and sensuality of turning away... Because at the end, in the eternal debate of Boobs Vs Butt I was neglecting my butt-picking patrons. Sorry, there will be more booty-pics on my pin-up projects from now on 😂
Have a great weekend! Stay nerdy, stay awesome 😘
