Hey there, wonderful people!
I love optical illusions and things that make my eyes and brain do strange things. These caddy models are intended to do just that! Depending on the light, these models shift from arrays of concentric squares to perpendicular stripes through diamond shapes instead.
I couldn't decide whether I liked this effect more on big, boxy forms, or on a curved, tapering shape, so we have both!
Also, these kinds of boxes always get requests for more robust non-vase versions, which is entirely understandable, so we have both of those for each caddy model.

Actually, "curved" is a loose term here, since we're just approximating curves with a series of offset diagonal lines in that first model, above. Of course, that's also true of FDM printing - we approximate curves and even straight lines, at least on the Z axis!
My eyes do weird things when I decide to focus on diamonds instead of squares, and vice versa:

Print Description
There are both vase and regular mode versions of these models, so be sure to set your slicer appropriately for whatever you decide to print!
This one works very nicely in shiny silk filaments! It would probably do well with transparent filaments, too.
Print Dimensions
These models vary in size and can be scaled arbitrarily, but the very largest of the caddies has a default size of 99mm x 124mm on the print bed and is 192mm tall.
Supports Needed?
Not at all! Designed for straightforward printing!
Scalability
These models will happily scale up or down without concern!
Print Orientation
All the models print right-way-up, like so:

File Location
You'll find these at 597 Cubic Dazzle Caddies

Further Thoughts
What did we ever do before we had shiny filaments? I guess we just worked with interesting shadows instead of interesting highlights and reflections, but still, those filaments really do just open up whole new worlds of creativity 馃槏
Happy, shiny printing!
