Howdy, wonderful people!
Ever since I released a quick-and-dirty cable manager I've had requests for a more elaborate version, ideally one that can stack! So, here we are, in overengineering land, with a big, chunky cable keeper that's ready to store your cables in a stylish, 3D-printed manner!
Of course, we could just use a velcro tie to keep cables tidy, but that's just not as satisfying as stacking up an army of 3D printed hexagons with rotating central spools!

This one went through a few different forms, starting small and ending up larger, purely because I wanted it to accommodate my two-metre USB cables, and because I wanted the centre to fit a standard USB-A plug across it. Then, stacking points were added, hexagons were drilled through the base to allow the cable to be visible (and because hexagons), and those handle-fin things were added for extra grip.

Printing Tips
This is an articulated model that prints assembled. It is designed for straightforward printing, with comfortable angles, and doesn't require any support. As always, ake sure you aren't getting undue stringing or other print artifacts like overextrusion that might bind together parts that are supposed to move!
The Kable Koiler prints hexagon-side-down, flat on the bed.
Print Dimensions
The Kable Koiler occupies 134mm x 116mm on the print bed and is 34mm tall.

Further Thoughts
If there's one thing I like better than functional prints it's functional prints that are still rather overdone and fun. Stuff that just wouldn't exist if we didn't live in the wonderful world of 3D printing :)
