You can split it to objects and most slicers and yoink out just the wings. You can use a heat gun to soften the socket to perform a little surgery!

2024-06-23 00:17:34 +0000 UTCI’ve peontwd this twice now and both times I get to the last 10% and the wings got either a layer shift or broke free and wasted almost 500g of filament and 30 hours each of prints. Anyone else having issues with getting these to print to completion?

2022-10-31 05:45:40 +0000 UTCEvery printer/firmware/nozzle/filament and user wants different settings. Basically if you want a better print you need to print slower with smaller layer height. Mostly: Time = quality... I used an 0.8mm nozzle at 0.4mm layer height on klipper with 100mm/s base speed, with PETG and am pretty happy with the results. I don't need it perfect, I prefer speed on prints this big.
