New Galaxy of Scum set

To create this Chi-Ro cosplay, besides the bodypaint work and styling a new wig, I modified two dresses to create 2 different outfits: a daytime palace look and 2nd more ethereal nighttime outfit... For the day dress I chose a gold dress that matches the eyes (yes, I wear yellow lenses XD), of which I modified the size and folds to exaggerate the pattern and figure, I retired all the horrible sequins, and added a new centre piece (made with foam) to make it look a bit more eccentric/futuristic. The truth is that after the modifications I love the way it has turned out, very oriental but without any specific country/culture reference. And yes, for the music instrument (Princess Chi-Ro loves to play music) I used a Bith flute replica from the Star Wars cantina musics XD

And for the night palace outfit I modified an actual beach dress, which had another horrible fabric inside as a lining, but by removing that very vivid color lining now the dress looks like a nightgown with transparencies, which was just the effect I was looking for. I think the cream colour also goes really well with the blue skin!
