Every time they extract human minds from the Matrix, Morpheus and his team explain that you should never confront an Agent inside the Matrix, that all you can do is run... until Neo arrives.
But this suggests that there have been previous confrontations with Agents, and that of course they have not ended well.
"The MATRIX: Glitch Hunting" is a huge action photostory (more than 500 pictures) that explores that idea as a prequel scene to the first film. It's a photoshoot of brutal action and explicit violence that shows the first and almost lethal encounter between Trinity and an Agent.
With this photoset the whole team (the Agent is Marc Crisalida who is a stuntman, the photographer is Monsters Inside, the light and makeup assistant was Mara Von Entropy), we wanted to explore the terrifying aspect of the Agents as mercyless programs and the unrelenting brutality of its programing... Like the concept of the Terminator (also already explored before in Westworld), an Agent does not stop, does not tire, does not hesitate and does not rest until the anti virus objective for which it has been programmed and executed inside the Matrix has been achieved... and we are the virus!
For me this was a very interesting idea to explore, because it allowed me to interpret in an action photoshoot not only angry but emotions such as fear or hopelessness... Trinity gathering courage several times, running away and accepting that she cannot escape, so the hopes comes and goes til the end. All this while performing jumps, shots, chases, kicks, bullet time and using a liter of artificial blood... it was super fun to shoot; the most gore the sets, with blood, choreographies and fights the most fun to shoot with the best B movie atmosphere is created!. XD
*TRIGGER WARNING: If you like happy endings, if you expect always a moral at the end of stories or if you have triggers with excessive violence, please don't watch this photoset... because we wanted to carry out an idea of cinematic ultra-violence and brutality.
