"Vamps the Space Ranger" watercolor pinup

Today I share with you Roberto Art 's sketches and first finished cover with my character "Vamps the Space Ranger", and a few of the photos that I sent him for reference.

It would be amazing if my retro sci-fi pinup character could have her own space erotic (kind of Barbarella) comicbook; but for now I'm more than happy working myself on my original project: creating pin-up photos, designing and sewing her outfits and planing some incoming photosets... And who knows, maybe some day publishing my own space pinup photography book!

But thanks to collaborations with amazing artists, I can now imagine my character created in different comic styles and from different perspectives!
Like this cover (first of two) created by the Mexican illustrator Roberto Jaramillo. Roberto Art has done an incredible job, pinup and campy, and very retro just like I imagined the tone of the "Vamps The Space Ranger" adventures. As you can see from the pencil, to the ink and final color in watercolors, the whole process is traditional old school art! I love it!

I hope so, because very soon the character will make a first cameo in an science fiction adult comic.
