My Second Bangkok Hotel – And It’s a Good One!

After spending two nights in a bunk bed hostel, I moved to another hotel. It’s still nearby, so I could just walk there. The hotel’s name is Avalan Hotel, and I got it for around (39.70 USD) per night. Super homey! The view from the outside is directly facing the MRT station—imagine how close that is!

I arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, while the official check-in time was 2 PM. When I walked in, the receptionist wasn’t there because they were on a lunch break—but there was a WhatsApp number I could contact. I messaged them just to ask if I could leave my luggage so I could go explore before check-in.

A little while later, a staff member showed up and told me I could check in right away! Wow, amazing! The lobby is small, but it truly feels like a cozy home—and it’s super comfortable! Oh, and right across the street, there’s also a place to eat. How convenient is that?

After finishing check-in, I headed straight up to my room on the 5th floor. And guess what? Even for such a small hotel, they actually have an elevator! It’s so minimalistic—and honestly, kind of cute! Look at this! 😄

And here’s my room!! The size is just right—not too big, which is perfect for me!! I can’t sleep well if the room is too spacious! 😆

There are two big windows—one facing the station and the other facing the side of another building. The bathroom is also quite spacious, complete with all the amenities I need.

One thing about this hotel—it’s super clean! Seriously, spotless! How could you not feel comfortable here?!

There’s also a staircase if you don’t feel like waiting for the elevator, which can be a bit slow sometimes. But if you’ve got luggage, definitely take the lift to go up and down.

Nighttime here was great too! No creepy or spooky vibes at all—haha! I even slept with the curtains open so I could enjoy the little city lights view.

And yep!! I stayed here for 2 nights. Besides being super close to the MRT station, it’s also near Pratunam Market, Tofu Skincare, malls, and more. You can actually just walk there—it’s less than 1 km away.

Buuuut… it’s hot! 🔥 Haha!
Next, I’ll tell you all the places I went shopping, okay?

To be continued…
