VIETNAM, SAPA

"cold region"

Around 8:00 AM, we arrived at the hotel and stayed at Saparis Hotel The price per night was about $23. And of course!!! We couldn't check in yet!! Check-in time was at 2:00 PM, so we decided to explore around the hotel! Let's go!

"In Sapa, it's cool and refreshing! Still bearable without a jacket. Around the hotel it was really easy to find taxis and Grab cars. There was also a park, an artificial lake, places to eat, a supermarket, and even something like a town square.

This place is like mini market the prices are cheap. I bought a sachet of shampoo here. You really have to try these peanuts too. My friend bought them! They're tasty and also cheap. I forgot the exact price, but it was around $1.30

After finishing our little walk, it was finally 2:00 PM time to check in. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so carrying our luggage was a bit of a struggle haha NO ELEVATOR!!!!!

As for the room itself, it felt like an old building but it was clean, no creepy vibes at all. It was super cozy! I slept really well. There was also a big balcony where you could see the view of the artificial lake, the hills, and the surrounding buildings in Sapa.

"You guys know what? I haven’t showered in TWO days??? THIS IS THE MOMENT!!!!!! FINISHED SHOWER!!!

After taking a shower, we decided to rest for a while and continue later in the afternoon or evening.

In the afternoon, around 4:00 PM we headed to Cat Cat Village using a GrabCar from our hotel. The entrance ticket for adults is around $6.50

If you're ever traveling to Sapa, Vietnam, don’t forget to stop by Cat Cat Village. It’s a beautiful traditional village, perfect for a relaxing walk while soaking in the local culture. Located just 2 km from the center of Sapa, the village offers stunning natural views, with terraced rice fields, waterfalls, and traditional wooden houses of the H’Mong people.

As you walk through the village, you’ll see handmade crafts, woven fabrics, and even traditional music performances. Want to take photos? There are plenty of Instagram-worthy spots, and you can even rent traditional costumes to level up your look!

There are costume rental spots and cultural shows. The traditional costume rental prices vary, starting from around $3 to $32 for a complete package including accessories and makeup.

Selfie before heading back!!

We finished at Cat Cat Village around 6:00 PM because we watched a cultural performance. After that, we headed back and first went to the pick-up point, where there’s an electric shuttle that takes you to the parking area. The fee is $0.40 per person

We were so tired and exhausted from walking around Cat Cat Village that we went to find dinner. I even forgot to take any photos because I was so hungry!!! I only managed to snap a picture of the noodles haha. And this is where I left my water bottle!

Let’s continue to the next chapter for the following day!!
