Last day of the year

Before this year ends, I wanted to make a compilation with one photo of some of my favorite sets from 2021 (there have been many more sets and sessions, but I think these have been my favorites).

One of the reasons I created a Boudoir Photography Patreon is because I firmly believe that quality geeky/sexy photography can be done. I adore pin-up, erotic and boudoir photography, but at some point I was bored to see how in the geek/cosplay community it turned into almost always the same very low effort photoshoots... And as a science fiction fan I convinced myself that it was possible to create something else, something more elaborate, with props, makeup, prosthetics, locations...
And here I am, still trying one year later. And if I'm still here, it's thanks to you, who support this crazy nerd project. As you may have already realized, this is not a very successful patreon, there are very few subscribers. Everything I earn on Patreon I reinvest in sessions (props, cosplay, creating sets, renting locations, paying the photographer...), and many months is not enough. As you can imagine, I don't live on this, so I take time from where it's possible. And it's worthy for me, like a second life I live after my "real" work... I really would like to continue growing and at some point to be able to make a living from it, to do more and more elaborate, spectacular sessions. I don't know if it will be possible, but for sure I will try. 

So thank you for staying here when this project is so humble and little, for making it possible... Long live sci-fi nerds and spicy photography! I promise to improve in 2022! ❤️

Antes de que termine el año he querido hacer un recopilatorio con una foto de cada uno de mis sets preferidos de 2021 (han habido muchos más sets y sesiones, pero cro que estos son mis preferidos).

Uno de los motivos por los que abrí un Patreon de fotografía boudoir es porque creo firmemente que se puede hacer fotografía sexy y nerd de calidad. Adoro la fotografía pin-up, erótica y boudoir, pero llegó un punto en el que estaba aburrida de ver como en el mundo geek/cosplay se convertían esos géneros en fotosesiones muy poco elaboradas y casi siempre iguales. Y como fan de la ciencia ficción que soy me dije que era posible crear algo más artístico, más elaborado con atrezzo, localizaciones, maquillaje y prótesis de látex... 

Y aquí estoy, un año después intentándolo. Y si sigo aquí es gracias a vosotros, que apoyáis este loco proyecto. Como ya te habrás dado cuenta por el feedback éste no es un patreon de mucho éxito, sois muy pocos de momento quienes estáis suscritos. Todo lo que gano en Patreon lo reinvierto en sesiones (atrezzo, cosplay, creación de sets, pagar a un fotógrafo...), y muchos meses no es suficiente. Obviamente no vivo de esto, así que saco tiempo de donde me es posible. Aun así para mí vale la pena, es como una segunda vida que tengo tras mi trabajo "real". Pero me gustaría seguir creciendo y en algún punto poder acercarme a vivir de ello, poder hacer cada vez sesiones más elaboradas, más espectaculares.  No sé si será posible, pero lo voy a intentar!

Así que gracias por seguir aquí cuando este proyecto es tan humilde, por hacerlo posible. Larga vida a los nerds de la ciencia ficción y a la fotografía sexy... ¡Os prometo mejorar en 2022! ❤️
