2025-08-08 22:25:44 +0000 UTCAs someone who grew up "the scholarship kid" from grade school through undergrad, I've always felt alienated from media that either a) pretends away the tension of class in friendships or b) represents it in crude black and white. The truth is complicated, which is exactly what makes it genuinely heartbreaking to endure. Shows like this and movies like Y Tu Mama Tambien or Bridesmaids feel like oases of careful attention.
