Back to studying the 1st new character to feature in the 3rd chapter of the NIMO comic series.
If I did put the project aside, I never forgot it & it's back in production in my head for a while, & on the drawing board lately.
I'm still not fond of the haircut I had in mind for him. I still want white there, but the design itself doesn't cut it.
Expect more in the coming weeks!

The main challenge here is giving texture, wet & steam in the sketch rendering, so I mixed layers & techniques to make it happen. A cool way to learn more about sketching art.

I was up for something a bit stylized, but matching my style by the end. I spent a bit more time on the global pose & the final lines cause I had quick colors in mind. I skipped the shadows but it worked out pretty well here. Let's go red head!

The Win in Twin ♥
Oddly I was not that into drawing him when I searched references, as the other twin, Roman, also marvellously played by O'Brien, is much more shown. Finally got into the man, when sketching, I saw how 70s gay coded the character is! I kept the sexy tanktop & mustache for sure!

Introduce yourself the best way you can.

ALL is revealed!
Another example of a simple sketch that, as it went smoothly & quickly, was the perfect candidate to experiment. So I did quick colors using the paint brush, which shows clearly the strokes, see the butt, haha!
I worked it all so that it doesn't look like a sketch to me. Still I show a grey tones version & the original actual pure sketch.
