I know I'm late, but I am a tv/movie anglophile, Masterpiece Whore with an On Again / Off Again relationship with Acorn and Britbox. I saw this in PBS back in the day.❤️🔥 (Spend $5/mo to get their Passport subscription - you can view on demand their whole catalog and support public TV.) That said, I need to say that Nicola Walker is great in everything. Just throw a dart at her credits on IMDb and you hit the bullseye.

Yeah...yup...if I could only choose one thing it would be True Detective season 1. You're so insightful about human nature and deeper topics, and I can't think of another show with more fertile ground for your style of reactions. The characters are truly unique and the story is character driven (yet lots of interesting happenings, too). I don't think it's even possible to exhaust the potential discussion about this show and the issues and layers within it. But I'd love to see you take a crack at it! ❤❤❤

I know I never would have seen this show on my own, and may have given up after one ep if not for Frank posting both 1 & 2. I now have a whole new level of appreciation for the acting talents of Stellan Skarsgard. Happy to discover that all 6 episodes are on Prime!
