2025-01-28 15:30:40 +0000 UTCI can literally feel the teachers' annoyance during that inservice training. Always people presenting shit that has very little to do with the reality of the day to day in the classroom. When they speak up about the real problems they have, no one has anything helpful to offer or say. The real struggle for these teachers is between the four walls of their room with the very real, and very challenging, young kids in the desks. My teaching experience is def different from what we see in this season, but there are aspects of it that are so real and true. I'm glad the show tackled this aspect of societal struggle. Interesting to see it juxtaposed with the police going through a training manual that clearly evokes the same feeling of disdain.
