That's the thing that grinds my gears. He lights the match and acts surprised when the building burns down
Franklin
2025-02-03 23:32:37 +0000 UTCHannibal at the end acting like he's not the one who set Mason on Margot to begin with by implying she could have a kid in the therapy session. FUCK OUTTA HERE HANNIBAL!

2025-02-02 19:19:02 +0000 UTCVery true. She's very hard to fool

2025-02-01 04:41:17 +0000 UTCPerfectly said. So true
Franklin
2025-02-01 04:41:07 +0000 UTCi like how they did the whole reveal that Jack was in on it because for the last couple of episodes, the writers had you so focused and preoccupied with Will and Hannibal being crazy that you completely forget where Jack's head space was right before.

2025-01-29 02:57:49 +0000 UTCDo not get it twisted, i absolutely hate Mason's character, but the actor plays his special brand of psycho so well, it's crazy.

2025-01-29 02:54:43 +0000 UTCI LOVE that dinner scene with Alana, Hannibal and Will. "Crossing boundaries is different that violating them" Hannibal was not so sublty telling Alana that she's overstepping by talking about his and Will's relationship LOLL I love when Hannibal gets offended/warning someone or anything that breaks from his controlled demeanor

2025-01-29 02:53:47 +0000 UTCI think it also shows how Hannibal is more scary / efficient and Freddy more prepared. He did not talk, just launched at Beverly. I know that Will is supposed to talk to convince Freddy not to shoot but still...

2025-01-28 12:59:32 +0000 UTCI love the mirroring, too! Beverly discovered Hannibal's secret basement kitchen/chopshop and was confronted by him--she didn't survive. Freddie discovers Will's outhouse/workshop and is confronted by him--she survives it. Hanni-Will are bound to each other, and they are the same in different ways (or different in the same ways?).

2025-01-26 21:52:27 +0000 UTCSo much talk about breeding--> pigs --> long pig (humans) --> legacy -->babies... Abigail was the child Hannibal took from Will. Margot's unborn child was taken from Will by Verger--and Hannibal was the cause of that too. There's a lot left unspoken when Will and Hannibal talk about families--and we know Hannibal gives and takes and gives and takes...

2025-01-26 21:44:47 +0000 UTCIndeed! One of the best series I have in the Hannibal lexicon. It’s almost like a Prequel to the first three books and movies. Have a wonderful day, Franklin!

2025-01-26 18:49:27 +0000 UTCFor the finale, keep watching into the credits. There’s a delayed scene you can’t miss out on. :)

Franklin
2025-01-26 16:31:34 +0000 UTCAbsolutely. A Feast for us indeed. So much goodness in that short scene
Franklin
2025-01-26 16:31:13 +0000 UTCBtw this rewatch (for me, through watching your reactions) makes me appreciate Freddie Lounds way more. Like, she really gets her shit together all the time and isn't easy to be swayed compared to other characters.

Franklin
2025-01-26 16:29:14 +0000 UTCThe best ones on television haha
Franklin
2025-01-26 16:28:28 +0000 UTCSuch a good way to show the viewers how similar Will is to Hannibal right now, or at least pretending to be
Franklin
2025-01-26 16:28:04 +0000 UTCoh yes. iirc they releases it as part of deleted scenes in the DVD release

2025-01-26 16:28:02 +0000 UTCGotcha. But the "getting pregnant" line that was used in the episode recap wasn't there in the first episode
Franklin
2025-01-26 16:27:20 +0000 UTCPreach 🔥
Franklin
2025-01-26 16:26:13 +0000 UTCTHIS IS PEAK TELEVISION RAAAHHHHH
tiph
2025-01-26 16:07:37 +0000 UTCHannibal and Margot refer to the baby as "legacy" in the first episode of this reaction. Hannibal basically pushes her to sleep with Will, since their scene is overlapped with Hannibal playing theremin and calling it like playing humans

2025-01-26 15:26:06 +0000 UTCYou're the firts reactor I see noting the parallels between Will-Freddy & Hannibal-Beverly's scenes :)

2025-01-26 10:49:20 +0000 UTCYeah the recap at ep11 I always chalked up to an editing mistake of a missing scene or somethin! Always tripped me up. But these episooooodes. It's crazy the layers of plans Will constantly has to unravel or keep hidden. Whew...s2 yo 👌👌👌

2025-01-26 09:19:40 +0000 UTCHey, look everybody! It's the friends and family plan!--literally and figuratively. Margot's got plans. .Will's got plans...Hannibal's got plans...Freddie's got plans... You could call ep 11 "On baby daddies and expectant (m)others" I love a well situated double-entendre: "...her killer will..," says "Killer" Will. Verger is a nasty piece of work...but Hannibal *did* tell him about Margot's plan. He does so love to wind things up and watch them go. Strap in everybody!

2025-01-26 08:17:35 +0000 UTCAlana, Will, Hannibal dinner was a feast for the mind to indulge our senses into rewatching it over and over until we are satiated in all we can discover in those moments. The most striking moment of that dinner was when Hannibal saw his own reflection in the wine after he sip it.
