Weekly question: If money were no object, how would you spend your time?
Honestly, I don't think much will change about what I usually do. Play basketball with the homies in the morning, create some art (paintings and reactions), go on a few trips with my wife as we usually do annually, take care of my family, and probably find some new passions to pursue. Probably things I couldn't pursue because of lack of funds. A guy can dream right😁

2024-08-28 20:15:07 +0000 UTCWe had a homestead my grandparents, and my parents built and grew after escaping Norway during the second world war we moved to Alaska. My mother was pregnant with me. I am the oldest of seven children. We had the Homestead until my accident 20 years ago by a drunk driver, he did over $1 million a damage to my . He had no insurance and being home stutters I didn’t have a traditional job. I worked in a lumber Mill and we worked fishing. We worked the land. It was the hardest decision. My family ever had to make. We didn’t just lose the homestead we lost the boat, which was our livelihood, that’s why I’m a quadriplegic but grateful to be alive. It was a beautiful life from my grandparents, my parents, my brother and sisters, our children, and some of our grandchildren until my accident. My family sacrificed a lot they didn’t have to. They could’ve just left me destitute and kept , my wishes and not sold a thing. It was a beautiful way to be raised. Hard work never hurt anyone and the beauty that surrounded us filled with life is immeasurable. It’s just an old ones dream. Now we all worked so very hard for so many generations to pass forward to our children, grandchildren great grandchildren, stability, the art of not wasting, and growing only what you need hunting, fishing gardening, bartering, how to make your own food, how to keep your word to a neighbor 50 miles away in the middle of winter before there was snow mobiles. Now more than ever I really wish with every fiber of my being just get one little acre knocked down the trees and start over but the younger ones in our family know what it’s like to truly create their own paradise . But medical bills continue to pile up and that my age there is no sense in doing anything other than teaching them how to do and use all the skills I’ve ever learned. I do a lot of writing and a lot of recording so that technology can carry me through to the generations , and maybe somewhere within those words they may find gems that can help change the course of their lives when needed. But yes, my friend. It was a beautiful life.

Going to conventions every single week sounds like an absolute vibe lol doing meet and greets sounds so fun. Hannibal is going to be on my next TV show poll that I post. I've loved the idea of that TV show ever since I saw Silence of the Lambs. So true. Financial Freedom feels like the best thing ever.

To see the northern lights without any city lights fall in love with who they would become, but most importantly always have a place to call home.

I have a kiddo with special needs so that takes a lot of time and resources but if I didn’t have to worry about that, I would go back to vocal training, learn how to use the two guitars I’ve been gifted, and finally learn how to read music and play the piano. Fix our house or get a new home altogether, and finally travel. I’d hope it’s the same situation for my friends & fam, but if not, I’d make sure they’re good too.

2024-08-26 22:56:50 +0000 UTCIf money was no issue, I'd probably be travelling all the time. So many places I want to visit: Barcelona, anywhere in Italy, Germany, Iceland, Switzerland. I could go on! And I love all things Fandom related, so I'd probably go to all the conventions that I could. I'd get all the VIP passes and just fangirl over the stars of Hannibal (highly recommend that show; it's tied as my favorite with Interview With The Vampire and DARK). I'd also be going to concerts all the time! So many other things, but I would make sure my whole family is safe and secure. There's nothing like not having to worry about money.

2024-08-26 19:45:46 +0000 UTCIf money was no object, I would get a private trainer, and studio, to make all that easier, a house with a garden and more space for my family, too expensive for us now, I would spend my days do tons of creative stuff and travel so much, buying beautiful houses and estates around the would and maybe rent them out so psople would have access to them when I wasn't there. I would collect antique books and beautiful old wooden furniture, pianos and music boxes... Sigh.. I dream. I would do all I could to stop wars and starvation and kids having a hard time. It breaks my heart.

2024-08-26 18:54:02 +0000 UTCIf money was no concern? Clearly, I'd retire early (well, a little early!). Then, I would want to bake. I love to bake, but never have time it seems. Well, that and I have the counter space of a child's Fischer Price kitchen! My specialty is cupcakes, and yummy cookies. I've even made Cookie Monster Cupcakes (that made a royal blue mess 😂). Probably my most requested baked item is my French toast cupcakes, with maple butter cream and brown sugar bacon pieces sprinkled on top. But, what I'd want to do is learn more baking. I'd love to have a big kitchen so I can make bread, croissants, pastries, cakes and pies. Mmmm. Now I'm hungry 😂
