Too many in the department are only looking out for themselves and their own interests, meanwhile the Barksdales are looking out for each other, and working to the same goals. Even things like Dee protecting Cass and Sterling when they made a mistake instead of throwing them to the wolves is something you wouldn't see the cops do for each other.

This goes back 100 years there’s an old saying “the fish rots from the head down.“ Major crime is a allowed to happen in order to keep the money flowing within this 100 year-old system of corruption, fueled by ambition, greed, and political agendas. The ones who suffer from this are the common citizens much more heartbreaking is the system that was built, intentionally known as “red lining“ during the 60s to keep poor black communities in segregated ghetto then during the “war on drugs“ was intentionally started by the CIA during the Iran contra affair done under the Reagan administration. All those who were in power positions were convicted such as lieutenant colonel Oliver North yet pardoned under Gerald Ford, who then went on to continue to fuel, not just crack, heroin now fentanyl. I don’t care if others have comments that call me a liar or have swallowed the mainstream media narrative spoonfed to them by six billionaire owned corporate media. You either lived and understand the history or you don’t. And if you come at me for my facts come straight because everything I just said is public knowledge, it’s one privilege of outliving 60-year-old sealed cases that became unsealed. Take for instance project Northwood out of Florida. A CIA plan to bomb and openly murder American citizens in Florida and blame it on the Cuban government as an excuse to use military force against Cuba. There are things this nation has done to other nations, so horrific yet Americans are so unaware of what our own government has done against its own citizens and continues to do so. as I said, the fish rots from the head down. And it doesn’t matter who sits in POTUS seat they are not the decision makers their corporate donors are. We are a multi national corporation that masquerades as a nation.

Well, the move finally happened last week. Watching this show for the first time a few years ago is what started me down the path to becoming an attorney, and I think it's very symbolic that I get to re-experience this masterpiece with all of you here as I am on the cusp of starting this exciting and nerve-racking chapter.
