What's your favorite hobby?
It used to be painting for me, but as the years went by painting became work. Which automatically makes it a bit less fun (as a hobby). But now I love me some video games, always have honestly. And also playing basketball at 6:00 a.m. with men old enough to be my dad. It's great :)

I’ve worked in libraries a lot on and off over the years and I always noticed I read a lot less when I worked in one. But now that I’m not constantly around books I find more fun in picking them up again! These days my main hobby is diamond painting! I got into that craft during lockdown in 2020 and it surprisingly was very relaxing to me. It’s a great way for me to feel more creative than I am 😅 and I also can multitask while doing it (I like listening to podcasts, audiobooks, or getting through my ridiculously long Watch Later playlist on YouTube).

Elden Ring has had me in a chokehold ever since release. Probably poured almost 400 hours into that bad boy. It didn't help when the DLC came along as well. Order some of your favorites?

But they all looked very interesting Oh wow you're creative through and through. Much respect. Much respect for participating in old-fashioned writing and left and letters. Although I still try to squeeze an hour or two in after he goes to bed some days. Now my main hobby is lifting weights. It's amazing stress relief and offsets some of the often sedentary nature that is parenting an infant. What's your favourite genre of games? Mine has always been RPG's. I love escaping into another worlds lore and characters.

2024-08-13 02:47:01 +0000 UTCJust remembered a few movies that you might like! "Amelie", "A very long engagement", "Legends of the Fall", "The talented Mr. Ripley" and "The English Patient". They are all very very beautiful and all about human relations and drama. Masterpieces if you ask me, and a lot of others who are, at least on paper, more qualified than me😊 As for hobbies... I make a lot of things from yarn, paper and fabric. I love to take photos, I listen to and make music and write letters to good old fashioned penpals with pen and paper ☺️

Next year, I'm taking a career break from teaching to go for it full time! Maybe someday you'll react to a movie based on one of my books! One can dream.
