I'm so glad you're watching this Frank. I like it when you pause it to make a comment or rewatch a segment. One cute 8 second scene that's easy to miss first time watching; when Herc is talking with Bodie's grandmother at 32.57 there's a cut to the outside where Carver is talking to a uniform cop, and denying he had anything to do with the disaster night at the Towers.

Facts. Such a brilliant man. Heck give him a good amount of time and the right resources. And he could crack this whole thing by himself

Franklin

Det. Freaman is the perfect example of "work smarter, not harder." He just puttin around, carving his doll furniture, then snags a picture of Avon and gets Dee's beeper number just by being observant.

Oh, I totally understand. The only reason I said that is because some parts of the intro come up in the show throughout the episodes so it's fun to notice that. One example in this episode is when they throw a rock and bust the camera. When I first saw it, I was like "Hey! That's from the intro!"

That's so interesting. Thanks for sharing that. It's crazy how they need to check in with you when you move in. Stay safe out there my brother. Walkie talkies. Some advancements. Makes sense. Way more discreet than cell phones Coming soon

Franklin

ah now that scene makes so much more sense. And now that I think of it I think that's an analogy for their unit Yay. So close

Franklin

I think those are my two favorite scenes from the episode as well. So much character building in those moments. I'm glad you're enjoying this. It's a fun ride

Franklin

Thanks James. Yeah I feel you. I usually always skip intros because my impatient ass just wants to get to the good stuff. That's why I gave it a watch on the first episode

Franklin

When I was a young, wild Buck I took the years. Six and a half of them. I can tell you in the end nobody really gave a damn. Peace!

I watched all 4 episodes this afternoon! I live in a similar neighborhood, so seeing all the behind the scenes stuff is very interesting. My building is gated, but I have these spots all around and I know all the "lookout" guys - I pass them twice a day walking to and from the tren urbano. When you first move into these areas they are required to learn who you are and why you're here. It doesn't seem to be as violent as in the states, but about monthly there is a dead person and we get flooded with police, but in between its pretty lawless. Its funny how they mention them using beepers - to this day, where I live, they use walkie-talkies. can't waitr for episode 5.

At the start of the episode half of them were trying to get the desk out of the office and half were trying to get it in. They were fighting each other, lol. I didn't catch that on my first watch either. Almost half way through the first season already! :D

Franklin I totally agree about the investigation scene. It was the best part of this episode besides the bar scene with the true detectives that are rare and their interactions when he told McNutty that when they ask him where he wants to go to “keep your mouth shut.“I do so enjoy watching this show with you your narrative of always never cease to fail.

Love these reactions. I wish you'd watch the intro though!
