From the allegory of the Blue Moon following him, to the fairy tale setup with the pub owner turning the peasants into lords, to the illusions playing in his head throughout (he even casts a few illusions to get them into the club), this one just delivers!

"Blue Moon" is ManCity's song, and the lyrics key into the (mis)adventures of Beard and his relationship status. As soon as you pointed out the visual of the blue moon, I was like "ohhhhhhh!"

2024-07-22 23:18:53 +0000 UTCIf you havenβt seen it, youβll want to watch the film After Hours. A lot of this episode is an homage to it. And the blue moon is the loss against Man City stalking him. Blue Moon is Man Cityβs club song. Also, that song Hello that Beard is dancing to, is now my drive to work song in the mornings when I need a little extra oomph. Each seasons soundtrack is on Apple Music. Best soundtracks to any tv show that I can ever remember.

It is a good reminder for me too...just to remember how much I loved seeing movies the first time..so honor that for anyone else seeing it for the first time too.
