Carlos might hesitate to pronounce "regenerate", but he never hesitates to save a citizen!
Crusher realizes that, while he was not discovered as a hero thanks to lapsus, his lack of experience putted somebody in danger in order to save him.
Not only that, but in an attempt to calm Crusher, Carlos, believing he was talking to a defendless citizen, tells him the last thing Crusher needed to hear: This is not your job.
Leave it to the professionals eh?
And while the day ended in a victory for the city, our hero will go home in defeat.

2025-08-13 18:22:16 +0000 UTCPoor Crusher he looks so defeated. He tried his best to help but it wasn't enough. It's a low blow when those with power are saved by those without power. Don't feel to bad Crusher you exposed some bad guys who can easily escape unnoticed. I know it's not the victory you wanted but you'll get better over time. Thank goodness Carlos and Crusher was able to survive that explosion. Getting pined by that solid looking chest can make anyone blush. Good thing for the symbiote regeneration ability that would've ended badly for Carlos. It's nice to see Crusher so concerned for Carlos. The way Carlos comforts Crusher by rubbing his face is so sweet. I can see Carlos being Crusher's motivation to become a better hero. Nagiro is well protected thanks to the Guardians. Nicely done Rubberbuns. Carlos looks so cool protecting Crusher like that. Putting his own safety last. Good thing he had enough symbiote to protect them both otherwise Carlos would have been in worse condition and then Carlos really would have felt bad about Carlos's condition. Seeing the biggest out of the criminals makes me think of wearing a sumo suit. After surviving his first battle with super power bad guys Crusher has alot to think about. Now that the battle is over I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the good work. 👍
