Summer Vacation

Hello again! It's been a while since my last post and for that, I apologize...

Although I had been pretty good with my goal of staying active with new posts and content for the first few months after launching this Patreon, I got a little burned out towards the end of May and lost my momentum (and obviously fell off the map). As anyone who pursues a creative endeavor might be able to tell you, once you start pushing yourself too hard or turn something that was meant to be fun into an obligation, it almost always starts to lose its appeal.

I'm definitely guilty when it comes to being passionate about a project and then pausing to move it to the back burner for a while before returning to it, and it's been a pattern in other areas of my life as well. The good news is that I've been bitten by the creative bug once again and am excited about dusting off my portfolio and sharing some new content with you soon!

For the time being, I'm publishing this photo from a batch of test shots I took in April as I headed out for the first time this year to create new content. I ended up shooting a few self-portrait series that day and I'm finally going to finish sorting through and posting them shortly.
