PRIDE Monday : Alex - "Flex - LOVE."
Added 2025-06-23 17:44:25 +0000 UTCThis week my celebration of PRIDE is a focus on self-love. I don't remember where I purchased the LOVE. cap but it was the perfect compliment to Alex' exquisite skills and a real message.
You'll notice that the set starts out with the word LOVE. in the same frame as Alex's amazing body. Your eyes are probably drawn to both. However in the second frame, the cap becomes smaller as his physique begins to dominate the frame. You last see the cap in the third frame. The word LOVE. is gone and the focus is now on his incredibly round cheeks. By the fourth frame, the cap is entirely gone and the focus is solely on the body.
So many of us look for LOVE and become distracted by the body. How many of us wondered first what his front side looked like before his face? I'm not saying this is bad of us, however it demonstrates our complicated relationship with LOVE.
We're taught our LOVE is weird, bad, criminal, evil. And we bring that into how we LOVE our bodies, ourselves, each other and what we enjoy. My real message with this image is that I am proud to LOVE a man's body. Yes, it may distract us from real love sometimes but it also distracts from the lonelier moments of life. And reminds us of the beauty found when we are true to what we LOVE. Xx TODD
