I knew him since he was 4, and he never had a father in his life until he met me. For a few years, all was well. Then, one morning when I woke up, I found him on a chair just outside of my door and asking these questions that I had to face. I calmed him like Veronica did here but it left a heavy feeling in my heart that I still have not shaken off to this very day. This was easily the hardest thing I ever had to face in my life. Can anyone relate?
