Shady Corner
Added 2022-05-28 10:04:48 +0000 UTCI also returned to work on "Arena" story, and now I'm working on "Shady Corner" location.
You probably already seen this place in my other story "Champion's Reward", when Jasmine was met by citizens after her winning the arena:
For those of you not in the know, both stories ("Arena" and "Champion's Reward") are part of the "13th Gate" series, on which I work for a while.
So "Shady Corner" is the name of the crossroad and this is the one of oldest areas of 13th Gate. One of the streets of this crossroad leads to the arena, the other to the palace of the Arena Master, so this is why Jasmine went through this place.
It has become a place for street whores these days, they are everywhere here. There are also a bunch of brothels, taverns and other entertainment places. Whores try to take a place closer to the Shady Corner, because it's the best way to find a customers. The cheapest old of them and those who are more passionate to take over the nearest corner. There are also a couple of dark rooms where you can retire for dirty curtains right on the floor.
