I got sick like that at the Gay Games in Guadalajara as I couldn't find food to agree with my stomach the first 3 days there not even ice cream. For 10 days after returning home and going to the ER it got better and I lost 15 pounds. Glad your husband's birthday was great and get better soon 🙏🏾
